Current Focus

Master's thesis: graph-based root cause analysis

I am working on automated Root Cause Analysis for microservice architectures using OpenTelemetry data, service dependency graphs, and Graph Neural Networks.

  • Containerized microservice testbed with controlled fault injection and synthetic traffic generation.
  • Telemetry pipelines with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Jaeger.
  • Graph snapshot construction, labeled dataset generation, and PyTorch Geometric experiments.
  • Evaluation with Top-1, Top-3, and ranking-based RCA metrics.
